WRU International degree programs are non-traditional
and innovative in nature. Degree granting authority and accreditations
are as stated elsewhere in this bulletin. WRU credits may not be accepted
by certain traditional schools. Please note that WRU awards are
not UK Qualifications under British Law.
All programs are flexible and tailored to
individual candidate’s background and circumstances. Flexible, student
driven learning plans and combination degree programs are available.
In addition to WRU’s innovative assessment methods, challenge exams and
individualized study programs, theses and doctoral projects may be required
to earn sufficient credits for degree program criteria.

Weston Reserve University offers competency-based,
online degrees. Students will be able to earn degrees by focusing
their study in areas of their interests. They may be asked to write
a narrative description of their learning which, if approved, can be incorporated
for credit into their program. We may also ask students to submit a portfolio
or other evidence of their work. Many students design their own
interdisciplinary programs!
